On the afternoon of October 26, the 7th session of “English Corner” of the School of Foreign Studies in 2025 was successfully held. The event, themed “Story Chain: Build a Tale Together,” was organized by the School’s English Talent Base and attracted many English enthusiasts in lively and engaging atmosphere.
At the beginning of the event, the host, Cui Xiaoxi, introduced the event procedures and the specific rules for the story-chaining activity. Participants were divided into two groups to develop two different stories. Under the guidance of Mr. Andrew, students actively shared their ideas and contributed to the story chain, with the plots unfolding creatively and interactively.

After each group successfully completed the story-chaining session, participants engaged in lively discussions to elect a “summarizer” for their team. The chosen students quickly stepped into their roles, using vivid and expressive language and great enthusiasm to recap and present the collaboratively created stories.

Finally, after lively discussions and selections within each group, the best “speaker” from every team stood out amid warm applause and cheers. Mr. Andrew awarded carefully prepared certificates to the students, recognizing their outstanding performance in communication skills, teamwork, and creative contributions during the event. We are looking forward to seeing wonderful performances in the next session!
