To educate and guide young League members in strengthening their national security awareness, shouldering the responsibility of safeguarding national security, and building a strong youth defense line, the Youth League Committee of the School of Foreign Studies recently organized themed Youth League Day activities titled "National Security: Youth Taking Responsibility" across all branches. These activities encouraged young members to fulfill their responsibilities through concrete actions and demonstrate their commitment in safeguarding national sovereignty, security, and development interests.

During the activities, each branch focused on the holistic approach to national security, with particular attention given to areas such as technological security and maritime security. Through case sharing, interactive discussions, and other forms, students gained a deeper understanding of the significance of national security and the responsibilities of young people.

Leveraging the unique features of foreign language majors, the branches also explored topics such as "Awareness of Technological Security in Foreign-Related Exchanges" and "Security Boundaries in Cross-Cultural Communication in Maritime Domains." Students expressed that they should reinforce their ideological defense in professional studies and leverage their language competencies to support international communication and security safeguards in relevant fields.
Through this themed Youth League Day activity, young League members further recognized that foreign languages serve as a vital tool for advancing national security and safeguarding security in foreign-related domains. Students pledged to fortify the security line of foreign-related communication with solid language competencies and contribute their youthful strength to the building of China as a maritime and technological power through concrete actions.
