The 10th International Symposium on Ethnic Literature

Ethnic literature encompasses not only narratives centered on ethnicity but also those exploring themes of trans-ethnicity and universality, particularly prominent in the era of globalization and glocaliz-ation marked by increased mobility.In order to further promote the study of ethnic literature and the academic exchange in this field, The Ethnic Literature Society of China Association for Comparative Study of Languages and Cultures, in collaboration with the School of Foreign Studies of Harbin Engineering University and the School of Foreign Languages of Central China Normal University, will jointly host “Ethnicity, Trans-ethnicity and Universality: The 10th International Symposium on Ethnic Literature.” The symposium will be held in Harbin, June 14-16, 2024. Scholars around the world are warmly welcome to submit your proposals!

I. Major Topics

III. Submission of Proposals:

1. Please fill in the attached form and send it to the conference e-mail address: ethniclit2024@126.com by the following dates:

* by April 30, 2024 (scholars outside China)

* by May 20, 2024 (scholars within China)

2. Official invitation will be issued by the conference organizing committee within one week upon receipt of the proposal.

IV. Others

1. Working languages: Chinese and English.

2. Registration fee: 900 yuan for each scholar, and 500 yuan for each graduate student, with expenses for meals during the conference included.
