On the afternoon of March 29, the second phase of the 2025 "English Corner" activity of the School of Foreign Studies was successfully held in the brary. This event themed  "Decode Your MBTI Type in English", was organized by the Academic Planning Department and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department of the Student Union .It attracted 30 English enthusiasts from different colleges , creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

At the beginning of the event, Mr. Andrew organized the students tinto groups through a random draw, and the host Liang Xinyue briefly introduced the event’s agenda and content.. During the activity, students were encouraged to collaborate in teams, actively discussing and sharing their thoughts on the theme. To further motivate engagement aspecial reward session was also included, with prizes awarded to the most outstanding group based on thier best performance .

Then the "Team Game" session began, and students were transformed  into"MBTI explorers" ,eagerly sharing their MBTI types. They carefully observed the details of others' behavioral cues, and applied their understanding of MBTI theory to guess the MBTI type of the others- sparking a lively and energetic atmosphere.

After the "Team Game", Mr. Andrew was the first to share his speechwith vivid descriptions of his own MBTI type and amusing real-life anecdotes related to MBTI. Everyone is immersed in his stories, bursting into laughter throughout the speech.  In a relaxed and happy atmosphere, the students not only deepened their understanding of MBTI theory, but also  found themselves bonding more closely with one another.

With the successful conclusion of the first twosegements, the core "Role Play"activity commenced. The character selection process served as a prism, reflecting the spectrum of multiple choices: some students channeled their authentic personalities into their roles following paths of self-awareness, while bold explorers ventured beyond their psychological comfort zones to tap into latent potential through contrasting personas. When the curtain opened, the stage instantly transformed into a personality laboratory: some "performers" employed powerfully expressive body language to map their characters' psyches, achieving perfect synchronization between vocal cadence and emotional rhythms;;while "detail masters" broughtroles to life through micro- expression archaeology. Each student blossomed into their own "Drama Queen", and the scene was full of laughter.

In the final segment, participants engaged in a lively discussion around the question: 'Can MBTI really define you?' and everyoneshared their opinions freely. To conclude, the host offered these closing remarks:: "MBTI is just a tool to help us know ourselves better. It's not a truth. It's more important for us to pay attention to our change and growth."

At the end, the organizers presented attendees with MBTI-specific gifts.  and Yu Xiaotong received The Best Speaker" certificate from Andrew, along withGroup 1 and Group 3 won the "Best Team" award. The event came to a perfect close in a cheerful atmosphere.
